The Reid O’Leary Charitable Trust, founded in 2021 in memory of Reid O'Leary, is dedicated to preventing the devastating loss and grief caused by suicide among young people. Thier mission is to provide critical mental health support and education, starting from our base in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, with the goal of expanding nationwide and into the Pacific region. They aspire to become a global leader in mental well-being support, aiming to save lives and build resilience within our communities.

At the heart of thier work is the development and deployment of a pioneering digital tool designed to offer accessible mental health support, community connection, and mood tracking for young people. Alongside this, they host community events, educational workshops, and outreach initiatives, building awareness and empowering youth with tools for mental resilience. They are committed to building a legacy of hope, connection, and mental wellness, striving to honour Reid’s memory and support young people everywhere.

This charity was born out of the belief that everyone who has been diagnosed with a terminal disease deserves one day of pure magic at a time where it’s hard to find joy. 
This is a day to share an amazing experience with loved ones before saying goodbye. Creating those everlasting moments, before it is too late.
For most, this is a hugely confronting topic.
But for those who have no choice but to face up to it, it’s a very real thing.
